		Sean Eric Bennett Birthday: 7-28-75 Height: 5'7" Weight: 160 Wife: Teri - married 4 years Children: Brayden Michael - 8 months old Sean, who hails from a small mountain community of Crestline, California, began his racing career at the age of 10. He began by helping out on the race cars of his father, Dennis Bennett. Dennis was an avid competitor for over twenty years and had competed in numerous forms of racing. Sean began his driving career in the mid-nineties. First, driving in a series of off-road vehicles, then moving onto pavement in the very competitive kart racing scene. He followed kart racing with a short stint in the Orange Show Speedway Pony Stock division. In 2003, Sean got his feet wet driving a limited schedule in a West Coast Pro Truck at Irwindale Speedway. In 2004, Sean drove his W.C.P.T to twelve top five finishes, four trophy dash wins and his first main event win at the Mesa Marin Speedway in Bakersfield, California. In 2005, Sean and the Bennett Racing team progressed into the Late Model Stockcar Series at Irwindale Speedway. Once again, in a limited schedule rookie season, they captured three top fives. The 2006 season was a roller-coaster of luck. The bad luck events, however, could not overshadow the incredible driving talent that Sean posessed. With a pregnant wife at home on bedrest, Sean remained focused and did not let engine failures and unpreventable wrecks keep him from ending the year with two top ten finishes in the newly purchased Racecar Factory Dodge Charger. 2007 has already proven to be a better year. With 3 top ten finishes and 1 top five in a field of over 35 cars, Sean sits fifth in points and is working very hard to maintain this great momentum. With the help of new sponsors - Shaver Auto Center, Dave Bennett Construction, Kadtec and Bennett Excavation, this season promises to be the best ever for the Bennett Racing team.
